📺 Below, we’ll walk you through the steps. You can also watch the quick video tutorial here:

Step 1: Log In Through the Customer Portal

  1. Visit the UTO Capital Customer Portal.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Click Login.

Once logged in, you'll arrive on the Dashboard, your main control center for everything related to your trading accounts.

Step 2: Explore Your Dashboard

All your active trading accounts appear in the Accounts window.
At the top right, you’ll find the Notification Center, where messages from the support team appear.
Click any notification to read updates or instructions.

Tip: Make it a habit to check notifications regularly — they may contain important operational or risk-related information.

Step 3: Access the Trading Platform

From the dashboard, click Access Platform.
This takes you directly to the Trading Arena, where all execution, monitoring, and chart actions happen.

Step 4: Select Your Trading Asset

  1. Look at the top left corner to see the currently selected instrument.
  2. Hover over the arrow next to it to open the full asset list.
  3. Search by name or browse categories:
    • Currencies (Forex)
    • Indices
    • Commodities

Example: Select Commodities, choose an asset, and it updates instantly with live price data.

Step 5: Check Your Account Balance & Margin Metrics

  • Your current balance is always visible in the top right corner.
  • Key live metrics — Equity, Margin, Free Margin, Margin Level — appear in the bottom left and update in real time as your trades move.

These values help you understand your risk exposure while trading.

Step 6: Set Up a Trade Using the Order Panel

On the right-hand side, locate the Order Panel:

Choose Direction
• Click Buy (blue) or Sell (red) depending on your market outlook.

Set Your Parameters
Volume (Lot Size): Defines trade size.
Stop Loss (SL): Automatically limits potential losses.
Take Profit (TP): Automatically locks in gains at your target level.

As you change the volume, the platform automatically updates the required margin.

Example: Changing volume from 0.01 → 0.09 will instantly show a new margin requirement.

Step 7: Confirm and Monitor Your Positions

  • Click Confirm Buy or Confirm Sell to open your position.
  • A green confirmation box appears once the trade is placed.
  • Scroll to the Positions window to view:
    • Entry level
    • Current price
    • Profit/Loss
    • Margin usage

Your equity and margin levels update constantly along the bottom of the screen.

Step 8: Closing a Trade

  1. In the Positions window, click the small X next to your open position.
  2. A confirmation window appears to ensure you want to close it.
  3. After confirming, you’ll receive a notification in the top right that your trade has been closed.
  4. Your balance updates automatically.

Step 9: Review Your Trading History

Go to the Closed tab to see all your past trades.
You’ll find:

  • Final profit or loss
  • Entry and exit levels
  • Execution timestamps

This helps you analyse performance and refine your trading approach.
